Deep by Kylie Scott

Rating: ★★★★★

Description:  Positive. With two little lines on a pregnancy test, everything in Lizzy Rollins' ordinary life is about to change forever. And all because of one big mistake in Vegas with Ben Nicholson, the irresistibly sexy bass player for Stage Dive. So what if Ben's the only man she's ever met who can make her feel completely safe, cherished, and out of control with desire at the same time? Lizzy knows the gorgeous rock star isn't looking for anything more permanent than a good time, no matter how much she wishes differently.

Ben knows Lizzy is off limits. Completely and utterly. She's his best friend's little sister now, and no matter how hot the chemistry is between them, no matter how sweet and sexy she is, he's not going to go there. But when Ben is forced to keep the one girl he's always had a weakness for out of trouble in Sin City, he quickly learns that what happens in Vegas, doesn't always stay there. Now he and Lizzie are connected in the deepest way possible... but will it lead to a connection of the heart?

Genre:  New Adult, Romance, Contemporary Romance

Review:  Ben and Lizzy met through the Stage Dive band and mainly because Anne and Mal got together. They have a very strong attraction together and have to hide it because Mal would not like the idea of Ben fooling around with his new stepsister.

Lizzy has her own agenda though and her agenda is to get Ben into bed and make him show that he likes her. In doing that she gets pregnant and does not plan on telling anyone until she starts getting sick, then it happens because of the date Ben brings to a party.

Ben has his own problems he has a sister that uses him that is all I am going to say about her because you will come up with your own opinions about her. Ben is sweet,  but he can be blind and stupid sometimes and when it comes to love most books I have read about the men are really really slow at figuring out what they want and jumping in fully.

Once they get together though and Ben actually is ready to be in a relationship it is perfection. They are sweet  and I loved that they finally got together. That relationship needed to happen for a long time.

This book was amazing and I am sad to see the series end, but it had its good ride and I will for sure be re- reading this series another time. All the books in the series are worth the read. The books bring out the worst and the happiest parts in a relationship and it is.  I keep going on about this book because it is good and Kylie Scott is a very good author and knows how to play on emotions.

Beautiful Redemption by Jamie McGuire

Genre: New Adult, Romance, Contemporary, Young Adult

Review:  This book was great, it was a little slow at first, but lately I have been falling in love with books that have playful bantering because it is cute and sweet.
Liis (pronounced as Leese) is sweet and is married to her job, and is not looking for a relationship since she just got out of one.  She just gets into the city and she runs into Travis Maddox and somethings happen only to find out  that he is her boss and some unspeakable things happened between them.

Travis Maddox is tough on his employers and when he hired a new person that knows Japanese to help him  make sure that his employer are not going behind his back when they are interviewing people.

Travis is hard on Liis, but Liis is not any easier on Travis. She makes him go crazy and yet he promotes her and tells her how good she is doing.
People on the force mainly marks is worried that a romance happening in the office will ruin Travis all over again. He has already been ruined once and he could not handle it happening a second time.

This book made me frustrated sometimes because it would not move along. They would start to move forward only to back track more steps than they moved forward. This book was well written and I love all of Jamie McGuire’s work. I cannot wait for more.

The Mistake by Elle Kennedy

Rating: ★★★★★

Blurb:  College junior John Logan can get any girl he wants. For this hockey star, life is a parade of parties and hook-ups, but behind his killer grins and easygoing charm, he hides growing despair about the dead-end road he’ll be forced to walk after graduation. A sexy encounter with freshman Grace Ivers is just the distraction he needs, but when a thoughtless mistake pushes her away, Logan plans to spend his final year proving to her that he is worth a second chance.  After a less than stellar freshman year, Grace is back at Briar University, older, wiser, and so over the arrogant hockey player she nearly handed her V-card to. She is not a charity case, and she is not the quiet butterfly she was when they first hooked up. If Logan expects her to roll over and beg like all his other puck bunnies, he can think again. He wants her back. He will have to work for it. This time around, she will be the one in the driver’s seat…and she plans on driving him wild.

Review:  This book was really good, just as good as the first book. I really liked how Logan had to work for it. It was really sweet and I loved that Logan finally got what he was looking for rather than daydreaming about it with Hannah.
Grace is sweet and innocent and does not expect to have any relations with John Logan, but random things happen and he ends up at her door. It is fate and they start by becoming friends.

John Logan is the player and he drinks a lot and is best friends with Garrett, but when Hannah puts all that in jeopardy because he believes he has feelings for her he tries to run away from his problems. John Logan then meets Grace and when he thinks he is starting to get distracted from Hannah, but when he accidentally tells her about this girl he still likes then he screws everything up royally.

When they are not together they are both trying very hard not to think about each other. Some people change over the summer mainly Grace she changes and she does not take any crap from Logan once she gets back to Briar. She makes him work for the date even though she knows that eventually she will give in. The list she gives him is so sweet and I was happy that she let him finish it.

This book was hilarious and great. It made me laugh and almost cry but it was worth the emotional roller coaster.

The Deal by Elle Kennedy

Rating: ★★★★★

Blurb: She’s about to make a deal with the college bad boy...
Hannah Wells has finally found someone who turns her on. But while she might be confident in every other area of her life, she’s carting around a full set of baggage when it comes to sex and seduction. If she wants to get her crush’s attention, she’ll have to step out of her comfort zone and make him take notice... even if it means tutoring the annoying, childish, cocky captain of the hockey team in exchange for a pretend date.

Review:
This book was great a definite must read and the continuation of the series is a must. I need all the other guys' story.  It is funny and perfect, it is sad, but not overly sad and it was just an easy read. I read it in one day, I could not put it down and it came with me every wheres i went.

Hannah has trouble with men, but she does not take any crap from guys and she is honest and tells them where to shove it if need be. I love that Hannah is that honest and that she does not try to please the people around her. She is who she is and that is refreshing. Some books have the girl that changes for the guy, but this book is just two people being themselves.

Garrett is the cocky jock who thinks he is the god and he is amazing. All the girls chase after him and want him, but he has to keep a certain average to keep playing hockey and hockey is his life. He does not have time for relationships and he is very strict when it comes to the season and partying. He lives with his teammates, well some of them ( which I hope we will get stories about :) )

You would not think that Garrett and Hannah could be friends because they both call people on each others bullshit and they kind of argue a lot.... sorry not argue bicker, they bicker a lot, but it is cute and they make the perfect couple. Everybody else sees it, but they are too stubborn to understand what they mean to each other.

Will they actually get together or will they mess it up? I do not want to spoil that for you guys so I really hope you read it and if you have.. tell me what you though about it? I need people to talk to about this series it is just too good to not talk about it.

The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith

Rating★★★★

Blurb:
Lucy and Owen meet somewhere between the tenth and eleventh floors of a New York City apartment building, on an elevator rendered useless by a citywide blackout. After they're rescued, they spend a single night together, wandering the darkened streets and marveling at the rare appearance of stars above Manhattan. But once the power is restored, so is reality. Lucy soon moves to Edinburgh with her parents, while Owen heads out west with his father. Lucy and Owen's relationship plays out across the globe as they stay in touch through postcards, occasional e-mails, and -- finally -- a reunion in the city where they first met.

Review:
This book was really easy and really fast to read. It was cute and sweet and I loved Lucy and Owen. I love how they traveled  but still kept in touch. I loved many things about this book. It was over all good and if someone was getting out of a slump like I was then it was perfect because there was nothing serious it was just fun and sweet and cute and I know I keep saying those words but, that is what it is.

Owen and his father moved around because of his mother passing away and they did not want to be home  they also were not ready to deal with having to get rid of everything. They were tough times though because they had to live off random jobs and they moved a lot. It made me understand why the book was called the Geography of You and Me.

Lucy's family is always busy traveling and her brothers are gone for schooling so most of the time she if left alone and then she gets stuck in an elevator with a boy that she has seen but, has never talked to so it is a new friendship blooming.... maybe more.  Lucy also ended up moving a lot because her parents kept finding different jobs, mainly her dad  he was always busy.

Sometimes I wondered if Lucy and Owen would ever get together because it took them a while so I was not quite sure, but when they did it was well worth it.

I have not read any other books from Jennifer E. Smith yet but I plan on it I have other books from her on my TBR list so I am excited to see what happens in the next books :) I would recommend this book though for those easy summer reads.
