Never To Late by Micalea Smeltzer

Synopsis: Mathias Wade, the lead singer of Willow Creek, is used to getting everything he wants. Except for Remy Parker—the one that got away. Childhood friends that grew into more, Remy was the one constant in his life until she moved away. In anger, he lashed out and broke the only girl he ever loved. With temptation around every corner Mathias drowns his sorrow in women and alcohol. When the band returns to their hometown for the holidays the last thing Mathias expects is to run into Remy—but she’s back, and she’s not done with him.

Remy never forgot Mathias or the pain he caused her. When she moves back to the place she grew up to take care of her ailing grandma her heart is set on revenge. She’s determined to make Mathias fall in love with her all over again—only this time she’s going to break his heart.

But Mathias never stopped loving Remy—and she soon discovers that her feelings haven’t disappeared either.

Can two people too stubborn for their own good overcome their own demons and find the love they always deserved?

Review:
Let me just say this before I get started on anything, this book so far is my favorite out of the series, so far... I don’t know how Ezra and Sadie’s story is going to go but right now Remy and Mathias are my boos :)

Moving on to the book, this book was great, there was a ton of ups and downs when I wanted to hug and hurt Mathias all in the same page, but he was worth the frustration.  We learned little parts in Maddox and Emma’s story. Mathias left Remy because she was moving away, but he did not leave their relationship in the best conditions.

Mathias has always had a chip on his shoulder and everyone knew about it. He was always moody and getting on every bodies bad side; he was a really big man whore. Sadie was it for him, but the Sadie was it for him, but they were too young to realize it.

Sadie has to come back to her hometown to take care of her grandma because she had a heart attack. Sadie is not happy when she gets into town; she has revenge on the mind because she knows that Mathias is in town as well. She tries to avoid him, but cannot help but surprise him when he walks into her work place.

They are both surprised that there is still the attraction between them and they rekindle fast, but what starts out as a revenge plot against Mathias changes into something more.

This book was really good, it made me cry a couple times... when Mathias was being an ass mostly because I really needed them to be together and get over their problems together. There were a lot of surprises and laughs as well. This is necessary read and the series as well.
