Never To Late by Micalea Smeltzer

Synopsis: Mathias Wade, the lead singer of Willow Creek, is used to getting everything he wants. Except for Remy Parker—the one that got away. Childhood friends that grew into more, Remy was the one constant in his life until she moved away. In anger, he lashed out and broke the only girl he ever loved. With temptation around every corner Mathias drowns his sorrow in women and alcohol. When the band returns to their hometown for the holidays the last thing Mathias expects is to run into Remy—but she’s back, and she’s not done with him.

Remy never forgot Mathias or the pain he caused her. When she moves back to the place she grew up to take care of her ailing grandma her heart is set on revenge. She’s determined to make Mathias fall in love with her all over again—only this time she’s going to break his heart.

But Mathias never stopped loving Remy—and she soon discovers that her feelings haven’t disappeared either.

Can two people too stubborn for their own good overcome their own demons and find the love they always deserved?

Review:
Let me just say this before I get started on anything, this book so far is my favorite out of the series, so far... I don’t know how Ezra and Sadie’s story is going to go but right now Remy and Mathias are my boos :)

Moving on to the book, this book was great, there was a ton of ups and downs when I wanted to hug and hurt Mathias all in the same page, but he was worth the frustration.  We learned little parts in Maddox and Emma’s story. Mathias left Remy because she was moving away, but he did not leave their relationship in the best conditions.

Mathias has always had a chip on his shoulder and everyone knew about it. He was always moody and getting on every bodies bad side; he was a really big man whore. Sadie was it for him, but the Sadie was it for him, but they were too young to realize it.

Sadie has to come back to her hometown to take care of her grandma because she had a heart attack. Sadie is not happy when she gets into town; she has revenge on the mind because she knows that Mathias is in town as well. She tries to avoid him, but cannot help but surprise him when he walks into her work place.

They are both surprised that there is still the attraction between them and they rekindle fast, but what starts out as a revenge plot against Mathias changes into something more.

This book was really good, it made me cry a couple times... when Mathias was being an ass mostly because I really needed them to be together and get over their problems together. There were a lot of surprises and laughs as well. This is necessary read and the series as well.

Review: Maddox Wade and Emma Burke... They are amazing each separately and together. They may be young, but they both know what they want

Maddox Wade had a tough childhood and he went through a lot. He has a really big heart and he is the sweetest boy. His twin on the other hand not as sweet, but this story is not about Mathias it is about Maddox.

Emma Burke loves to be by herself, she does not like big crowds and would rather be reading then going out. Her best friend is an extrovert and makes her do many things that are not in her interest, but it helps her meet Maddox so that is a good thing.

Emma’s best friend Sadie brings her to a carnival and ditches her to go see a band called Willow Creek. Emma was expecting Sadie to come back after the show, but when she does not Emma is left alone and Maddox walks in. When he sees that Emma has no clue who he is, he uses that to his advantage and gets to know her.

Throughout the whole book I expected Emma to figure it out, but she never did and there were some really simple hints about who Maddox was, she never caught on though, which made me a little mad because then she got mad about it once she found out. I yelled at this book a little bit mostly when Maddox told Emma about himself and gave her hints to guess that he was in the band.

I love when books have a happy ending, but I hate when the girl is stubborn and does not want to forgive the guy because he wanted to do something that benefited them both.  This book was sweet and it was a quick read because I could not put this book down. I have always loved Micalea Smeltzer even with her other series Trace and Olivia. I expected to love her books and it did love up to the expectation with minor annoyances, but its okay it was worth it.

Review:

This book was very good. I have always loved Tiffany Reisz and her books because they are interesting and different.
I have been reading this series since the first book came out and they had me hooked. It is meant for a older audience  because there is a ton of sex and BDSM in it. The story is good though and Soren and Nora are perfect together. They make a great couple she is a switch kind of; she is a dominatrix with everyone else, but with Soren she is his submissive. It is intriguing because she would not sub for anyone else well except for Kingsley.

Kingsley plays a little in the book we get the story of why Nora went away for a year and why Kingsley disappeared. We also find out how he met Juliette. I am super happy that things ended well for Kingsley because he deserved it.
Nora and Soren get away to Scotland to finally be hitched and that is great because I knew they were going to be a permanent thing because they complimented each other so well.

This story was good and happy and that is really all I have to say to it because I had no complaints about this book.

Review:
This book was really good. I have been waiting for this book for a long time, it finally came out, and it lived up to my expectations, even if it was not Dare or Max’s book.
Toni and Logan are super cute and sexy together. Logan makes Toni come alive and helps her live and she would not have that chance if she never went to interview them.

Toni is writing a book for the band and she has to interview them and follow them around. When her Editor Susan starts to tear her down, she wants to prove that she can complete the job. She does a good job until they hit a really big speed bump, which happened because of her mother. Let us just say that is does not end well for Toni and she gets fired, but there is a happy ending to the book so need to fret :)

Toni’s life before Exodus End is boring, plain and nothing ever happens to her. She has a best friend and she takes care of Birdie who is her sister. She stays home and completed her schooling from home because she had to take care of Birdie.

Birdie was born with Down syndrome and her mother closed off once her father passed away. Her mother did not want to put her heart into anything and did not want to love her children fully because she was scared of heartbreak, so she threw herself into her work.

Toni had to put her life on hold to raise Birdie and while doing that she missed many opportunities, she meets Logan when she gets on the Tour bus and they click. Before she got on the bus, she was a virgin and she just wanted to get rid of it. What started as a quick (pardon my language) fuck, became something more pretty fast.

Logan is the man whore of the band... maybe not as much as Steve, but still pretty close. He never thought he would commit to one woman, he also never thought he would be able to say those three words.
He has commitment issues, when he was younger he would see his dad go through countless women and he did not want to commit to one women and lie to them  if he could not stick to just one. Being in a band made it simple for Logan to go from woman to woman and he did not have to remember their names until Toni.

Her mom eventually comes around and starts acting like a mother and spending time with her family, which was great because throughout the book I tried hard to keep liking her, it got hard though.

I do recommend this book and I am sure the whole series is going to be good. Olivia Cunning is great author, writing about bands is her thing, and it is great. She needs to keep doing what she does best
